Post Graduate Study and Academic Degrees 

The University Council upon the recommendation of the faculty council awards one of the following academic degrees:

Master Degree (minimum 2 years, courses & thesis)

Prerequisites 
M.B. Bch., From an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from a recognized institute with minimum grade “ goodâ€‌

A- Master Degree in Medicine in one of the following clinical branches:

1- Internal Medicine.
2- Cardiac and Vascular Diseases.
3- Nephrology.
4- Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis.
5- Tropical Medicine and Health.
6- Dermatological and Venerological Diseases.
7- Radio Therapy.
8- Physical Medicine.
9- Pediatrics.
10- Blood Diseases.
11- Clinical and Chemical Pathology.
12- General Surgery.
13- Urology.
14- Orthopedic Surgery.
15- Ear , Nose and Throat (ENT).
16- Obstetrics and Gynecology.
17- Ophthalmology.
18- Anesthesiology.
19- Diagnostic Radiology.
20- Audiology.
21- Public Health Preventive and Social Medicine.
22- Industrial Medicine and Occupational Health.
23- Forensic Medicine.
24- Nuclear Radiology.
25- Speech Therapy.
26- Geriatrics.
27- Epidemiology.
28- Endocrinology and Metabolism.
29- Rheumatic Diseases.
30- Clinical Toxicology.
31- Human Genetics.
32- General Intensive Care.

B- Master Degree in Basic Medical Science in one of the following sciences:

1- Anatomy and Embryology.
2- Histology.
3- Physiology.
4- Medical Biochemistry.
5- Pharmacology.
6- Bacteriology.
7- Medical Parasitology.
8- Pathology.

Doctor of Medicine: (minimum 2 years; courses & thesis)

A- Doctor of Medicine or Surgery ( M.D.) 
   Same majors as Master Degree and in majors Cardio – Thoracic Surgery, Neuro Surgery , Plastic Surgery .

Prerequisites 
 Master Degree in major subject or one of its branches from an Egyptian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized institute

B- Doctor of Medicine in Basic Medical Science ( M.D.) 
Same majors as master degree.
